Balfour Bears are all original designs created by me, Trisha Balfour. I welcome commissions and shop enquiries.

Please note that Balfour Bears are collector’s items and are not intended for children under the age of 14 years
due to the materials used in their construction.

I use only the finest mohair, suede, cashmere and vintage velvet to make my miniature creations. My bears
range in size from approximately 2 inches up to 6 inches and are fully jointed using cotter pins for the larger bears
and thread joints for the little ones. They have onyx bead or glass eyes and are filled with a mixture of rust proof
steelshot/glass beads and fibrefill.

My creations have been featured in a selection of UK bear magazines including Teddy Bear Times and
Teddy Bear Club International.

I have entered one competition - The British Bear Artist Awards in 2002 and was
Runner Up in the category that I entered.
